Spend the weekend hunting varmints and shooting steel on a friends farm, the friend on whose farm we were asked that we take of 3 young Blesbuck rams for him for some meat for the workers.

One on the left was shot in the head with a 105gr RDF out of a 6Dasher, middle one was taken by me with my SLR and 108gr Hornady ELD-M rite behind the shoulder and the last one was shot by my Friend in the neck also with my rifle and a 108gr ELD-M.

All 3 were around 350y, obviously wasn't a "hunt" as much as a quick culling exercise but was nice to be out in the field after some animals.

Hogparol, sorry only seeing this one now. That was between Freestate and Natal and they actually had allot of rain the last while, most of the country has gone through a tough dry spell the last couple years but they get decent rains down on that farm. The picture with the animals was taken on that flat spot but the grass around it is nice and high, the part where we shoot steel into the mountain gets mowed/cut before we shoot
