I Snert'ed this prairie dog with my 17 WSM @ 159 yards. It was two days ago.. I shot around a hundred of them. I love my little 17 WSM.

Mike I wish it happened cleaner than it did.
Look under the gash just behind the shoulder. That was 1st shot. Clean through the lung, 2nd shot was the gash, quartering toward me. I had to get on my hands and knees with a spray bottle of peroxide and work my way through the briers to find him.
Took the horns in for a european mount.
