Just days after surprising the firearms industry with the announcement that the Marlin Firearms factory in North Haven, Connecticut would be shut down, executives of Remington Arms today dropped another bombshell concerning the fate of Marlin, a Remington subsidiary. This morning, Remington released a statement declaring that Marlin would be “re-constituted” as a multi-product outdoor gear manufacturer, with a primary focus on fishing tackle and equipment.

Well, let's put it this way. After last years April 1st
Daily Bulletin, I'll wait for a few days before I believe "anything" Paul says.
But I must say, He (Paul) could stand up for me in court "any day". ;D

Doesn't seem like it's been a year already (that's how traumatized we all were). The big give away is the too-fast-to-be-real ramp up in production/import-export/on the shelf times for day-glo bullets. No one can sell anything but camo bullets no matter how fast they travel! I guarantee someone at Marlin has started a marketing analysis to see if you might be right...

Good job, yes its is funny when gullible people are posting links to this stuff in other forums declaring it as news like last year. I wish people wouldn't clue them in reminding them its April 1st in the comments section, I would like to see more people get ruffled. ;D

I agree -- if you've figured out the spoof, keep quiet. We still had people (including professional "gun writers") citing the dimpled bullets hoax as fact 11 months after the spoof ran.

I may just go in and delete the clues.

FYI, one major bullet maker thought the edible bullets thing was real, LOL.
