It’s all coming together Atlas Rifle

Two years ago I purchased an Atlas Rifle on the classifieds that came with a 284 Winchester, 6 BR barrel and two stocks. 284 barrel was on on the action and my plan was to try shooting 1000 yds. Never got around to it so friend installed the 6 BR barrel few weeks ago and this is the first load I put together. 5 shots @ 100 yds
Last year I started shooting club BR matches with Savage 6 BR. Yesterday I shot BR match with the Atlas and finished 3’rd with a 199 10X’s. Now I need to learn how to read the wind flags since this is all new to me.
I want to thank you guys for the knowledge I have gained from this site.

Friend and I went to range last week and and it was the first time I have ever shot at 600 yds. First target was around 4 inches and then I ruined an awesome group on the 5’th shot.

Good shooting! Really hard to beat a 6BR. No need for the average guy to own anything else for punching holes in paper @ 300-600 yards.

Yes, impressive accuracy. For the average club shooter the 6mmBR With no-turn chamber dies the job. I do also like the 6BRA for the higher velocity it allows and case stability. You can run a little less pressure and still hit a nice velocity node. And now reamers and dies are readily available For the 6BRA.

Don't be so hard on yourself!

We've all done the same thing and sometimes more than once!

Celebrate the 4 really good shots and ignore that 5th one. Next time you'll get them all in the same knot of holes.
