It happened... UPS got me for 5k primers.

So a couple of weeks ago, Midway had some 205m primers for sale that I got lucky on and snagged a box. Fast forward 5 days and it is still sitting at the hub. Fast forward another 5 days and it still hasn't moved on the scans. Call after call to UPS prompted them open an investigation, but still no luck. Midway made it right, but I don't care about the money, I just want my stuff.

So if anyone notices someone in the Memphis/North MS/East AR area trying to sell some 205m primers, especially if they are involved with or know anyone involved with UPS, kindly point me in their direction

The UPS HazMat guy I talked to didn't seem concerned about the 8lbs of explosives missing in their warehouse on airport property ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wouldn’t be surprised if they show up. Same thing happened to me on primers. Twice lately! Set in one place for days and days, then poof it arrived. It’s all a conspiracy to stress you out. Mike

Midway was nice enough to tell me that if it gets returned to them, it will be put back into stock instead of me getting notified individually. All I gotta do is hit that "Notify Me" button on the product page.

UPDATE: So I'm leaving the post for posterity, however, someone else from Midway emailed me back: "We will go ahead and leave a note for our returns department. That way, if this order arrives back to us, we can hopefully get your order recharged and reshipped instead of them immediately returning it back to inventory. I hope this helps, and I really do apologize for any inconvenience and frustration this has caused."

Don't know if they are actually going to do this, and I'm writing it off as a loss, but it was at least nice to hear.

Just a matter of jacking up the price on everything else to cover the loss. Hospitals do that on a regular basis to cover the folks with NO insurance that they MUST serve in the ER. Ever wonder why your Medical Ins. is so high? What about the Obama Care Mandate? And you wonder why prices keep going up.

Ordered a set or rings from Michigan going to MS. Shipped USPS in Express Box on 14th and tracking had it to a Michigan hub on the 18th. Absolutely no further tracking until they miraculously arrived at my house on the 28th. No way mail in ballots are going to work!

Similar experience, I had a pair of Rocky snake boots on a 2 day priority mail from North Carolina that took 24 days to be delivered to me in Texas.

event the replacement was lost for a while and showed up after its replacement
will have to verify what it is and contact seller again

Been buying from Precision Reloading (site sponsor here) for many years. Usually have my order in under 48 hours (south Dakota to Wisconsin) lately a little longer. Seems like I am always talking to the same fellow and enjoy doing business with them. Stock piled primers back in September 2016 will no trouble and free HAZMAT and shipping (large order for me). Most of it should be local mail so very likely to get there without a hitch. FWIW around here if you request a mail in ballot your name gets put on a list and you won't be allowed to vote in person at the voting location. Anyway not attempting to derail the thread. Also FWIW everything I bought or sent recently got there as normal except one order from Tejas that took a couple extra days.
