Issues with March 48 HM

I have two of these
Im not sure if this is one is an older or new version. It has a different paralax knob
It is noticeably darker and a little fuzzy compared to the other one
Anyone know anything about this model?

Compare the two serial numbers to see which is older. I’d be curious. That scope seems a little off. Mine have had the serial numbers engraved or stamped into the aluminum not printed.

I’m almost positive both came from Cal shooting

The serial number is engraved The one in question is x861 pictured on top in the attached

The only notable difference is the marking on the parallax knob
I’ll send it back and see what happens

Can you take a picture from the front, as I indicated earlier? Yes, there is a difference in the side focus knobs. DEON removed the distance markings on the side focus for several reasons.

I have an update
I reached out to march cs. they have asked me to send it in. It is quite the process to send to Japan.
So I decided to try one more time to see if I had better luck.
I had not installed the big parallax adjustment wheel onto the thing. I put it on and can now get into better focus. Not as fuzzy with the finer tuning the big knob offers
It is still noticeably darker than my older one. I'm gonna shoot it a bit and see how it goes
