Is this fraud? What would you do?

On Jan 1, I ordered a complete bead blasting cabinet and filter setup. It was listed as in stock and would ship that week. A week later I received an email saying it was out of stock and wouldn't ship until the end of Jan. I got a shipping notice the first week of Feb and thought all was good. It arrived in 4 boxes, unpacked everything and started to put it together. Quickly found that a bunch was missing. The web site said the cabinet consisted of two boxes, A and B, which were included when you selected "buy". Only B shipped. The other boxes had the filter unit, accessories, and media. Asked about box A and was told it was out of stock until 2/28. On March 5 was told it would be March 14th. Today I was told it would not be in stock until 8/27/21!!
So now I am out $850 and only have about half of a machine so it is completely useless. Their web site still says "in stock". What options do I have?

If you paid with credit card and you aren’t satisfied with what is going on, I’d file a dispute with CC company. Send it back and buy elsewhere. I’ve been hearing more about out of stock items and charging CC. I’d like to use someone’s money for a couple months free of charge. Poor business practices!!!!

I too would urge you to seek help from your cc company. I've always had great results going that route.

I’d call my Credit Card Company. I’d also call the company you bought it from and raise holy he$$!!!
