Is there any difference to the external dimentions between s/a & mag s/a?

Hi All,
this maybe a "Duh" question, but is there any differnce in the external dimentions of a Rem 700 standard caliber short action vs a short magnum action? I'm wondering, as I'm trying to find a synthetic (hopefully fibreglass) stock for my hunting rifle project, built on a s/a 700. I have seen some listings for S/A Magnum actions, and wondered if it will still work / fit my action ok.

Its the same, when they refer to a "magnum stock" its usually the barrel channel is cut for a magnum contour barrel.
