Is the 6BR boring?

Screwed a Shilen barrel on my action. Cleaned it. Fired one round at home to use the case to find the lands. Cleaned it. Went to the range. Fired one shot at target(bottom left), adjusted scope, fired one more (right side of sighter) and then cleaned it. Fired 3 shots and got this.

No load development, seating adjustments, nada. Just dumped in 29 grains of RL-15 and seated the 107 SMK .020" off of the lands.

While cleaning the barrel after the last three shots, the wind came up and I ended up chasing my target down a couple hundred yards away. Didn't get to shoot any more, but I really like what I am already seeing.

I wouldn't really call it boring, but it sure a "fun" cartridge that you can do a whole lot of things with...

Mine is so boring I haven't shot it in months. Last time I had it out I was whacking prairie dogs at 400 yards to out past 600.

It's an old J model Savage single shot with a 28" Criterion on it.

I would be pumped with "boring"! I'm itching to shoot my Savage 6br with Criterion barrel I picked up in June! Finally have my berm built and vacations done and kids back to school and on and on. Yay boring!

A. It's so ugly it's cute. Short and fat with long neck.

B. New last week OTS savage f-class. OTS lapua ammo(boxes look like they've been ON the shelf a while). 1st 30 shots all well inside 1 MOA at 200 and I haven't even got my bag setup working quite right yet(jumps right).

Scary when the first 3 shots go in one hole and you think your off the target. Next 2 open it up.

I've said this on a different thread before, but I'll say it again: if you think your gun is boringly accurate, your target is too close! :D If you move your target out, at some point either the wind or your mistakes will start opening things up to an interesting and observable size to make it fun again!
