Is it winter where you live?

I just heard tomorrows forecast, the closest town they mentioned to me was Royal Palm Beach and the low tonight is going to be 65 degrees. Thats winter baby. I haven't got it out yet, but I have long sleeve Carhartt's that haven't seen the light of day since March. Whats it going to be like where you live?

Sac CA NOT soon enough, were headed back to the 90s this week, Had been the mid 80s the last week or so after 110s this summer this feels like an almost real fall LOL the high 50s in the early AM make it some what better

It is Mississippi after all. Its been comfortable for a couple of weeks. Almost cool enough to put a light jacket on. After more weeks than I care to count of 100 plus, I can deal with this.

Temps are dropping, loaded the wood box on the porch and expect to start the first fire later this month. Last year we had an awesome monsoon season, this year we really didn’t get much. The cooler temps and fall colors are in motion but we desperately could use some moisture. Hopefully we are hunting elk in the snow and not 70 degree temperatures.

I don't know if I would call it winter yet, but there's snow on the Gallatin range south of my house that will melt next August. October 21 last year we got a foot of snow, followed by 3 days of 40 mph wind, that finally went away in late April.

Went scouting last weekend for daughters elk hunt. Not much water in most areas. She drew a multi unit hunt so we did find some water but a cow elk hunt was going on and people were all around the water areas.

Here in Erie Pa, we have 4 perfect seasons, but that does'nt
mean I don't keep fresh gas around for the snow blower. LOL
Furnace is not on yet but did prep and run it about a month
ago. I hate that initial stink the first time it's run. Best to do
that when you can still open your windows. I have a box
wood burner in the basement, that gets fired up this time of
year. All the punky wood gets used first and throw in a big
chunk of red oak at night.

Aussie here. The last of the snow in the mountains has just gone and the heat is about to come. We had our last bit of winter in my area a few days ago but that will change later this week when summer conditions arrive abruptly later in the week.

It's nice to know that someone else uses descriptive words like "punky"! :)
Northern Wisconsin has lows in the 40's and highs in the upper 50's right now. After deer hunting is over with, will head way down south to New Zealand for about 5 months... I don't like cold anymore. :D
