Is it possable to extend forarm on fiberglass stock?

Yes I'd be real leery about using a bipod and putting any kind of weight on the end of that forearm if it was bracketed, glassed and painted. I'm not saying it can't hold 100% and forever too, but I'd not want to be the guy who experiments and tries it. Too much work and time put into that to have it fail. The slightest amount of stress and movement on that bracket could pop the glass and paint job, and affect accuracy too. I'd rather just buy me a sturdy stock that is long enough for a bipod from the start.

That is a interesting piece of equipment. It may not be too difficult to build that. I think I have most of the parts on hand. @DirtySteve I bet I could get some reaction from Cledus on this you think?

Cledus is wondering if it would load the front of the fore end to much and cause excessive stock flex.

Hmmm, if'n it were me and I had a extra 4-5 inches..

You can try it if you have most everything on hand, nothing to lose there.
Worse come to worse, I'd modify the sides of forend to except the rails.
Tape off and grind flat surface counter sink for nuts and bolt on aluminum rails.
