Is DNT optics and Arken the same company.

I bought the DNT optics scope, the one, and it's going back. Poor tracking, poor quality image couldn't sight the rifle in no matter what I did, maybe defective, but I'm not going to get a replacement. The Arken has identical specs, so my guess it's the same scope. I'm in the market for a 7x35x56,or possibly a 7x30x56 , illuminated and similar reticle, i'm thinking something by Athlon unless someone has a better suggestion. Not going super high end, been down that road before and nothing gained exceptional to warrant the exceptional price tag.

I have 2 DNTs and 1 Arken and so far they have been flawless, Been over a year and no problems, Shoot them mostly on 22lr out to 300 yards, Have one on a 6BR and no problems either, For the money they are hard to beat, I do believe they are tied together though....

THX, I had high hopes for mine, but it went south real fast. The diopter setting is bad. I'm going with Athlon.

I have an Arken and was just about to send it back. I pulled the old scope off and right away had problems with the front ring being tight. Took it out to sight it in and you could have focus or be parallax free, but not both. Thru research, I found others with the same issue. I followed a fix I found online and hoped it wasn't damaged as a few others had. After buying an extended rail and moving the front ring all the way to where the bell starts, I'm very happy with it now, but never had that problem with any other scope.

Amazing, that's exactly the problem I have, I'm going with Athlon I have one and it's way better than DNT.

I have 2 7-35x56 Arken, 1 5-25x56 Arken and 1 7-35x56 DNT "The One". The Arkens I have done tracking test on and they check out. The DNT I have yet to do a tracking test on. But it's on a gun I'm still developing and 100 yards on paper is all it's ever seen so far. I will say though, that I prefer the reticle on the DNT, but in my opinion, I don't get as sharp of an image as on the Arken. Honestly, I believe they are probably manufactured in the same factory in China, but each one is built to different customer specs. The same way a Yeti and an Rtic are made in the same factory.

Would I buy another DNT? No, probably not, even though I like the reticle better on the DNT. I'll likely stick with the Arken for budget rifles in the future.

I have had 4 arkens. All have performed perfectly. I did tall target test on the 5-25 and the 7-35. Both were within .2% of the 40moa. The 5-25 was low and the 7-35 was high. I have shot both at 1000 in competition and my scores are the same as my nightforce nxs. I go with arken because it is run my ex-seals.

Arken and DNT are separate entities, but both come from the same factory. Arken was the original company, but the China half started up their own separate line with DNT. Of course, I am partial to Arken though. I have not had any dealings with the DNT offering as of yet.

I have one problem with them no phone number contact that i've been able to find,a no for me given that.

Have had three Arkins--scopes all fine for the $$ But first one I ever ordered it never came --They were not nice about it--Finally sent another shipment which I did receive--they went through a period where the main post facility was " misplacing" lots of Arkens was word on the street-- but hey that was not my problem and he insisted I had got the first one and when it came would I please pay for it or return it--he never quit with the idea I scammed him for a scope--Ok fine
Got a DNT 7-35 from Cameraland--mounted it--could NOT get it to track or sight in --Cameraland said mounted so they could not take it back but he gave me the owner of DNT in USA cell phone--that guy sent me a label--replaced the scope--and the DNT 7-35 I have now is an amazing scope for the loot--excellent customer service zero issue--
I think the glass in my DNT is the best of the 7-35's I have Arken vs DNT--could just be this scope or could be DNT's are a tad better or could be my imagination--it seems to be a darn good scope for the $$$

But..ordered a Nightforce from Old Dominion--No drama--perfect scope! Heck of a price!
I Love my NF and my Tract Torics-- The DNT serves its purpose and if I could only have one for that kind of budget I would be thrilled with it---

The difference in parts used between the two appears to be cosmetic only.

I'm using a SH4J Gen 2 on a 1000 meter rifle in 375 RUM. If I was starting over again with target shooting, I would not hesitate to put one on each of my rifles.

DNT answered the phone and came through for me
Arken--not so much..
If you feel more comfortable talking to your scope maker, then you need to buy from the people with the biggest call centers. Nightforce, Vortex, March, Leupold, etc.

Arken has no call center, as far as I know. You probably won't get your emails answered either.

The product speaks for itself. The guarantee says the rest.

If there's a problem with it, send it back. If you don't like it, you can sell it very close to what you paid for it.

It's the most reviewed scope brand on Youtube.

I doubt there is any question you could ask Arken that has not been covered at least 100 times in the reviews.

Yeah, but. How long would it take to find a specific issue buried in one of the videos?

And, many times your specific issue isn't exactly what is discussed in the video => it's always great to be able to talk to someone. Even back and forth emails can get awkward.

All that said, if that's Arken's support policy, just be aware before you buy.

There is a high probability that whatever issue needs discussing can be intelligently responded to by an Arken owner within 24 hours on this forum.

Not saying that serves as a good reason to buy one, just that the market saturation of the product is high, you can't shake a stick without it pointing to at least one Arken owner.

I did a USAF 1951 at 100 meters with the SH4J. I'm hesitant to compare it to my IOR's [ Romanian, not Valdada ] in case it actually resolves better.

I didn't find anything on any shooting forums about my issue with my Arken. All the videos I watched were either someone bragging how good it was or someone hating it for reasons other than the problem I was experiencing. Took quite a bit of time to find the answer on believe it or not, Facebook.

I had the exact problem you had , DNT sent a UPS label and it's on it's way back, not getting another. I'm getting the Tract their highest magnification, side by side with the Athlon Cronus, the Tract won by a hair only both good scopes but my mind is made up.

The Tract is a fantastic scope. The owners answer on first ring. The optics on the Toric are just astounding! Toric and the Chronos are pretty close to same unit both built by LOW in Japan.
Good call ! Every friend that has looked at mine has bought one.
Good Luck
