Is DNT optics and Arken the same company.

I bought the DNT optics scope, the one, and it's going back. Poor tracking, poor quality image couldn't sight the rifle in no matter what I did, maybe defective, but I'm not going to get a replacement. The Arken has identical specs, so my guess it's the same scope. I'm in the market for a 7x35x56,or possibly a 7x30x56 , illuminated and similar reticle, i'm thinking something by Athlon unless someone has a better suggestion. Not going super high end, been down that road before and nothing gained exceptional to warrant the exceptional price tag.

I have 2 DNTs and 1 Arken and so far they have been flawless, Been over a year and no problems, Shoot them mostly on 22lr out to 300 yards, Have one on a 6BR and no problems either, For the money they are hard to beat, I do believe they are tied together though....

THX, I had high hopes for mine, but it went south real fast. The diopter setting is bad. I'm going with Athlon.

I have an Arken and was just about to send it back. I pulled the old scope off and right away had problems with the front ring being tight. Took it out to sight it in and you could have focus or be parallax free, but not both. Thru research, I found others with the same issue. I followed a fix I found online and hoped it wasn't damaged as a few others had. After buying an extended rail and moving the front ring all the way to where the bell starts, I'm very happy with it now, but never had that problem with any other scope.

Amazing, that's exactly the problem I have, I'm going with Athlon I have one and it's way better than DNT.

I have 2 7-35x56 Arken, 1 5-25x56 Arken and 1 7-35x56 DNT "The One". The Arkens I have done tracking test on and they check out. The DNT I have yet to do a tracking test on. But it's on a gun I'm still developing and 100 yards on paper is all it's ever seen so far. I will say though, that I prefer the reticle on the DNT, but in my opinion, I don't get as sharp of an image as on the Arken. Honestly, I believe they are probably manufactured in the same factory in China, but each one is built to different customer specs. The same way a Yeti and an Rtic are made in the same factory.

Would I buy another DNT? No, probably not, even though I like the reticle better on the DNT. I'll likely stick with the Arken for budget rifles in the future.

I have had 4 arkens. All have performed perfectly. I did tall target test on the 5-25 and the 7-35. Both were within .2% of the 40moa. The 5-25 was low and the 7-35 was high. I have shot both at 1000 in competition and my scores are the same as my nightforce nxs. I go with arken because it is run my ex-seals.
