Is Christensen REALLY That Terrible?

I see plenty of them at the range and again they either shoot 1/2 MOA or 7MOA. Even worse they are diffacult to deal with on the customer service side of things like a lot of companies today. Their warranty and accuracy gurantee is practicaly worthless. I am sure some guys might be out to get them but when enough people at your gun club have issues and people online say much the same thing I find it hard to believe all of these peoples are liars. It is always feeding issues, accuracy consistency issues, fit and finish issues. They all say the same thing about the company being diffacult to deal with on the warranty side of things!

I come out of the Auto Industry and Aviation Industry and when you see a clustering of the same complaints or issues that is a signal. Get enough of those and end up with NTSB looking into things if the OEM does not preemptively issues a TSB or Recall and does not do something to figure out "what and why" and how to fix it.

My 2 cents would be if you want a whole setup that includes decent glass, with ammo for the hunting gun get a ruger American gen2. If you want smooth factory action get a tikka.

Both my sons have a Christensen 300WM. Seem to be nice rifles with a very nice trigger for a factory rifle. Bolt is stiff…maybe it will loosen up with some use. . Shot this group today doing load development. Plenty good to shoot deer. Measured .403. Maybe they got lucky?
