Is Armageddon Upon Us????

Love it when shooting forums delve into global finance. The vast majority of what’s posted up so far is dead wrong.
It was, for the record, a case of singularly bad management that took a huge part of their balance sheet and invested in long term bonds….way too many.
You know what happens to the price of very long term bonds just when the Fed starts to aggressively raise rates….they go down….a lot. They booked $2 billion surprise loss. When the majority of your depositors are institutions with an average balance of $10 million, they start to withdraw…..also fast.
Like I said….it’s pretty much a one off, virtually no other bank is structured quite like them. They were a primary fund source for tech projects, that was not the issue…….good old fashion concentrated investment positioning.
And before everybody gets their panties in a wad, I spent 40 years with a major financial institution running a fair sized book.
Maybe a one off, but I highly doubt it. With bin Bidens cabinet pics to run things, historical precedence is out the window. Since he has been in office things have gone bad from a monthly basis to now a daily basis. The bad news is so overwhelming we can no longer reconcile how this affects us day to day.

I have read that in the last days, "The truth will be a lie and a lie will be the truth." Do you ever see that happening?
Me? Not thinking I/We will be around for the last days. Not to worry.
I DO know where me and mine will be going.
Really looking forward to it, just not in any hurry.
Not getting any younger but still got a few things to clean up/take care of but if I should go before that time, someone else will have to clean up after me.;)

1) I am NOT saying the Dems didn't lie by what I am about to say and suggest
2) The video I saw of the Capital events, especially the parts about the Shaman, don't really look to me like the narrative TC added over it.
3) Turn off the volume and watch the video...draw your own conclusions without the narrative.

What I saw was NOT cops "inviting the Saman in" and "giving him a tour"

What!?

What I saw was a bunch of poorly trained and never ever involved in a street fight cops who had been poorly led, had been denied backup, had stalling leaders (who steeped them in "community policing" and "officer friendly" looking outside at a pissed off mob. They lost the perimeter when it was overrun (by who...well I have conjecture but that is just opinion) and people were now entering. In face of overwhelminmg numbers, no backup...and no orders...you do your best. You try not to piss off the goof ball mental case in the weirdo hat who is walking 1/3 speed faster than you, going wherever he wants. You walk with him, apease him, reasoning that he isn't busting up stuff, and you certainly don't start cuffing him (with no where to take him, no one to help you and a crowd ready to go off if you do.) And why would you cuff him?

Well, if he were a Lefty socialist Ahole, I would bet a bunch of us (me included) would bellow things like defiant trespass, disorderly conduct, etc etc.

Regardless, MY POINT is that the cops didn't give him a tour. THAT is TC's narrative. The went with him because he was a NUTJOB and tried to do the officer friendly thing because they were reduced to that as the ONLY option.

Been there, done that, hated every minute.

So I will suggest it again...turn off TC's narrative and watch it yourself. Draw your own conclusions. Then watch it again listening. See if bias doesn't jump out at you.

I am not saying bias is wrong. I am saying that the question we should ask is "What bias is the bias I am being biased by?

That's how we really become critical thinkers in a world of propaganda
TC pointed out, where very few others in the media would, that those that were incarcerated were denied their Constitutional rights, and many, to this day, remain in prison unjustly. On my local news, I still see them rounding up local people who attended the rally. The amount of money and resources expended on this witchhunt conducted by the dems is astounding. This is a LE priority over every other crime problem going on in this country?
BTW the "goofball mental case" was a Navy vet that was diagnosed 15 years ago with mental issues. How is it that he is incarcerated for 4 years for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, yet the streets of some cities are crowded with "goofball mental cases" (many non-vets) who set fires, deficate in public, club passersby unprovoked, etc, etc. without so much as spending one night in lock-up?

No, Lack of character evaluation "has made for bad business decisions". Character no
longer matters in today's world; only color, race, gender and wokeness matter and here we are.
I kind of disagree, yet agree. Lack of character I agree on. But bad business decisions based on cheap money are like this (it happened to me). I walk into my favorite suppressor store because I had a certain model ordered there, but they never seemed to be in stock at Silencershop. So, I was there to change my order to my second choice, which was in stock. He happened to have my second choice already in his shop and says I'll make you a deal on a second suppressor and the deal was so good I took it. The bad thing is that I didn't need it or particularly want it. Now I have a suppressor I didn't need, don't use, and don't particularly like. But money was flush, covid checks were in the mail box so what the heck. Now inflation is cutting my discretionary spending money and I wish I had passed. $700 dollars is now "parked" where I can't easily get it.

Or, figure the guy I work for. In the last couple of years he spent 0.5 Million K on equipment to grow corn to shoot ducks over.

Flush money = extravagant spending. Banks making bad investment decisions knowing they will get bailed out for instance. And bailed out means you and I pay for it without having a choice.

They will worship unrighteousness as righteousness.

Not only will they call evil good and good evil, they will worship those that call evil good as the good.

That's now. That's not in the future. This is Babylon. Right here.

If you want to read the comment about women: read Isaiah Chapter 3. My comment was based on 3:12.

Proverbs 18:12 A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion. (that's our politicians).

I do believe you could argue that 3:12 is a universal lesson. But that's not prophecy in the future. That was fulfilled 2600 years ago.

Been that way since DAY ONE!! Think Sodom and Gomorra. God's time is NOT our time.
Crooked politicians doing what crooked politicians do.
Same as in society. In layman's terms, they'll be getting there's!!

This is confusing; if it was decent sized chunk of even half-assed dirt he could've gotten paid by someone else to grow corn...

How do you walk by 9 Capital Officer's breaking the Law, and not be subdued? Really, like they were trying to do their job that they sore an oath to? They did exactly as they were told. They are the ones that committed treason in my opinion.
Do you really believe that they would do this without orders to stand down. Just like the all the demonstrations that turned bad in the last decade, police are ordered to stand down and allow the demonstrators to do what the want. Here in the city of Baltimore our fine mayor did that while our police were two blocks from looters who went into one of the largest drug stores and took several million dollars worth of drugs. along with destroying everything in the store.

Don't ever blame the police for their actions in these situations. every decision in every police department is made by politicians.
