is 4451 showing any primer preferences?

Hi,

As stated above, is 4451 showing any preference for certain primers?

I am looking to see how it works in my 243 with 80 grain sierra and nosler bullets if that helps the discussion out any.

I have used IMR 4451, H4350, and N160 for 140 grain class bullets in 6.5 Creedmoor with BR2 primers and (without as much fine tuning as I have done for H4350 & N160) I am seeing a little higher ES as SD. It could just be I need to work with it a little more, or might need to test other primers...

I suspect you won't get a lot of responses, 4451 being relatively new, so I will offer my own limited experience FWIW. In 270 Win behind a 130-gr BT, I quickly found an accuracy node with an ES of 15 fps and groups 1/2 MOA with fine tuning yet to come - not bad for 270 Win in a 40-year-old M77. Primer is WLR and load density is ~98%.
