Iowa air rifle comps?

Does anyone know if there are any air rifle shooting clubs, competitions etc in the IA area?

Been here my whole life and none that I know of. You can shoot airgun at the NRL 22 matches.

I'm in Ankeny, the Des Moines metro area.

We have a few indoor ranges and 2 DNR ranges nearby. With the cost of components etc it seems an air rifle comp would really make sense.

30 mins from you, new transplant from SW Iowa. I have PCPs, pump and tank. Have not shot much. I shoot a lot of PRS rimfire and was going to try to get this airgun to work for the NRL22 monthly matches.

Good luck. Start your own. I shoot in a winter Springer only benchrest league here in Pa.. Lots of fun. Here is an idea. I shoot indoors all year at an indoor archery range. 25 yards. Those backstop work fine. The owner has some heavy duty folding tables that work fine for a bench. For targets I use colored notebook reinforcement rings. The league is shot at 10 meters. Front rest but no rear bag, you must shoot of your shoulder. The multi target is what we shoot in the league. Little dot is an x. The others are the notebook rings I shoot at. They are 5 shot groups at 20 meters of the shoulder , no rear bag to pick a pellet for reg league this year

. Het something started the Air gun is were it's going to be more and more. .04 a shot, no loading, no cleaning, and no component shortage.

Talk to this guy if you're looking to shoot 3p/4p air. He's a very accomplished shooter and a great resource.
If you have 10m you can shoot, you can shoot a postal league.
