Iosso blue brush

Ok I tried the search function maybe here in Australia we have trouble would not surprise me because we have trouble with everything else.
is or are anybody using this brush with success because I find this thing very hard to push through the 6.5 and 7 mm and the 22 Cal barrels I have I am thinking with a copper stripper solvent this would be a good thing

I am going to assume that you have a brush specific to each bore size:

The nylon brushes are typically stiffer than their bronze counterparts, since the individual bristles are a much larger diameter.

Are you wrapping a patch around the brush or simply pushing the brush through the bore with solvent / paste?

Are your barrels new? If not, do you have an approximate round count on them? If you have buildup in older barrels, going to the stiff nylon brushes can prove difficult.

223r is on 4th barrel and now at 350 odd 6.5 is at 600and still smooth as silk the 7mm is at just over 300 I keep count of shots fired for each barrel by keeping my empty projectile boxes

Like Aaron said, they will break in with some use. But they do remain tighter than bronze brushes.

My main concern was that your barrels may have 1000rds down them, and that copper/carbon buildup has further constricted the bore. This would make for a heck of a time getting a new, stiff nylon brush through. If you can get the brush through the bore, you will be fine.

Montana Extreme and Isso blue nylon brushes are all I use.
Bronze brushes sparingly on the bore or just on the carbon ring

See Post number 6 round count on barrels is stated and as for leaving copper in my barrels don't think so you can leave what ever chemicals in there you like it won't find a trace of blue especially after the weekend they all got the copper carbon copper carbon treatment they are ready for the settling arounds of Fire thankfully my 260 only takes around 7 shots .
The 22 Rimfire is the worst before it completely settles into its usual habit of accuracy takes around a box sometimes more

I’ve gone to using .223 blue brush for 243 barrels. It’s a lot easier on me and the cleaning rod. The solvent does most of the work if you give it time. Using a bore scope seems to confirm bright and shiney.

All I use are the Iosso Blue Brushes, Dewey Rods and Boresmith Patches.
Yup, they are a little stiff at first, they loosen up a bit and clean very well. Boresmith patches are the best IMO, 22-27cal for .22 and 27-35 cal for 6mm, there’s one larger, but I don’t shoot over 6mm.
