Well that's a buncha horse mess. What if I sell lots of junk around my house at a loss?

You still get one. You have to figure out how you're going to document it, or not, in your taxes. I generally have the receipts for the things I've sold, so I can prove it was a loss.

I don't know why you are all worried. Mexico has strict gun laws. They have a veritable paradise there. In fact, so good, another country nearby has a government that sends guns to it's special privilege gun clubs that operate in the largest cities there...a real win win!
