I have been giving some thought to having a friendly competition conducted on Hexta Electronic targets. The format would look something like:
Our club and your club conduct a competition on the same date, at the same distance, at whichever target dimensions are decided upon.
We have some F-Class shooters and some International Rules (ICFRA) Palma sling shooters. We are limited to 308w under 156 grn projectiles, and our current longest distance is 700 yds, but I am sure that with a bit of goodwill the rules can be worked out.
Because Hexta use a web based display system, so long as the range and the Hexta system have Internet access, then this can be done in near real time, and visible from anywhere in the world.
At this stage there is only me, but you never know till you have a go.
If anybody is interested, let me know here as a starting point.
Oh, we are in Victoria, Australia.
We believe the Hexta to be the best going around, naturally.
Mike
