A number of folks seem tho think the new owners of Remington are looking at future defence contracts. Yes, with the small arms stocks being depleated from the recent wars, America may be in need. But with the up coming likelyhood of both a democratic whitehouse and congress the military spending will be down if trends repeat themselves.

I think these investers just saw a ripe plum ready for picking.

Yes, I am shooting F-Class, at Butner, NC. I may expand my horizons to other ranges/matches VA, TN, KY, GA, FL.

Look at the North State Shooting CLub web site and find the match dates. Either get your mess together or let me know and I will load you up some ammo and you can shoot my one of my rifles. There are several shooters who come up from the Charlotte area, and we can hook you up with a ride to share the expense.

If you want to shoot FTR get a .223 or .308 set up for heavier bullets to shoot 800, 900, 1000 yards. The rifle needs to be under 17 pounds W or WO Bipod.

If you shoot F-Class open any caliber under 30 and your rifle must be under 22 pounds. Seperate front and rear rest.
