Okay…after using it the first time…still like it and it’s nice but why in the world would they have designed it to work counterclockwise?
I had to really pay very close attention that I wasn’t moving the jaws backwards because the indicator is backwards.
Still scratching my head on the design but it’s a nice indicator and I like everything else about it.
I must be dense. I've never given bidirectional needle movement a second thought. You can always write a reminder on the wall. You may indicate at 6 o'clock whereas somebody else thinks 12 o'clock is the right way, up above someone is using 9 o'clock. My note on wall for outboard spider says, Top CCW, Bottom CW.
