Input needed on spotting scope issue.

Ted,
What Greg said is correct. It may require a little effort to train your left eye, but it can be done. I'm very right eye dominant but learned to use my left eye on the spotting scope. I keep both eyes open for both.

I mostly use my left eye for the spotter and my right eye for the sight system . I do that so that I don’t break my position as much and I don’t spoil my eye looking through 24x, then go to 4x or irons. Sometimes I don’t get my scope set up right and I use whatever eye.

anytime I hear “always” or “never” I got to question that. When I was a jr shooter at camp perry back in the m14 days, I got sand bagged pretty bad and developed a sty in my left eye. It hurt to open, so I used my right eye all day. Just one example of why always or never is BS.
