Innovative Technology's Bore Scope

I am looking for hands on users of this scope:

Don't need opinions and I don't need "Buy a Hawkeye" because I already own a Hawkeye.
Do you own this borescope? How long? Have you compared to a Hawkeye? Good points? Bad ones?

Cool. Looks like it doesn't give a 90 degree view like most people get on the Hawkeye... not sure if thats critical or not.

Fixed it.
I copied the correct link but I didn't paste the correct link for some reason.
I must be slipping a bit in my old age.

Read the threads on video borescopes in the reloading section. That scope is junk. I bought it, couldn't see any detail, called Larry, tried to adjust it with him, still couldn't see any detail, so I sent it back for a refund. Don't waste your money. The monitor has horrible resolution and next to no color contrast. You'll never be able to see copper or any fine details in the rifling. Be lucky to see rifling and throat wear. I have looked through Hawkeye's many, many times. Larry's scope is so far from that level of viewing it's not even funny. About like comparing $10 novelty store binoculars to Swarovski EL Swarovision

If you want to wait, I'll be giving a review sometime next week on the VOscope I bought, model VT24-4FLUV. Another member says it compares favorably with the Hawkeye, but only cost me $330 with a 24" flexible cable. Has a head diameter of 4.3mm, 7400 pixel resolution, two flashlights, a 70 degree view mirror and a 90 degree view mirror. At 4.3mm it will be small enough to fit in 17 cal barrels just like the Hawkeye Slim 17.

That is exactly what I wanted to know. I will just keep using my Hawkeye and look forward to seeing your review of the VO.
Thanks!

My pal had that scope since he didn't want to pay the $$ for a hawkeye ( which I have). I helped him compare it and yes its pretty much junk.
He is now waiting for the new Lyman borescope when it hits the shelves shortly.

Lyman looks interesting. Not sure it will be any better but won't rule it out. Would be nice if one of you techno geeks would come up with a way to use a smart phone/fiber optic setup to bore scope with.

Just for the sake of curiosity (and education), if you already own a hawkeye borescope, what feature were you looking for in a low cost version that you don't already have?

I have owned my Hawkeye for many years and a lot of new technology is out there now. I find nothing wrong with the Hawkeye but mine is a straight eye piece and can be a PITA to look thru at times. I use a MagLite Mini with LED bulb so I have a lot of light but wish there was a better light option for less than an arm & a leg. I also wish I could see farther down the barrel as some of the newer fiber optic models seem to allow. I use my scope regularly and if there is a better mouse trap then I am going all in.
