Inline fabrication articulating powder throw arm

Who has one and would you reccomend it? What i really want is one with a hornady or lee quick change bushing so i can snap the thrower out and put in a drawer and swing the arm to the back. Anyone that has one do you have any more detailed pics of it?

I have one & am less than impressed. It isn't stout enough for uniform measure operation with anything but ball powder & marginal at that. Too much flex in the long piece the measure attaches to. If you want it to swing, it will be even less sturdy unless you loosen the bolt at the rear to move it then tighten it again to use the measure. Not a good plan for what it sounds like you want to do with it.

It looked real handy, & would be perfect for my use if it was more robust. I'm considering making a brace that attaches to the arm near the measure to somewhere on the riser frame, but may go a completely different route.

I use 2 Redding & an old Uniflow for measures & it's fairly quick to change with old die lock rings, 1 on each measure & one below the mount. Not a one twist change, but still fairly quick.

Great feedback and something i hadn't even considered being an issue. there is very little info ou there on these things. i couldn't fiind any youtube videos etc. on them. based on your assesment this will not fit my needs. i assumed it just swiveled didn't realize it was bolted solid. additionally if it doesn't allow consistant throws then i will save my money and build my own mount to attache to my t-track.

That thing doesn't look sturdy at all I only shoot F class now days but one thing I did learn throwing 133 for my ppc is the thrower needs to be rock solid and the thrower worked the exact same way every single time. You can try it and check your throws with a quality scale but I'd be willing to bet you wouldn't be happy.
