Inherited primers...

I recently inherited 10 boxes (1000 in each box) Winchester large pistol primers for standard or magnum loads and have no idea what their value is or how to sell them. Help!

FYI - if those are silver (chrome) Winchester primers, they tend to be VERY good primers.

You could likely sell as many as you wanted for right at $80 per thousand.
You would want to do it face to face, because shipping primers requires haz-mat postage/shipping which adds $25 to the shipping cost.
I'm not sure how many you can ship for one haz-mat fee, but if someone wanted to buy all of them, that would make the haz-mat more palatable....

If you have no use for them, either sell or trade them for some cash or something you need, from local shooters in your area or gun shop.
With the way primers are now days, in the range of $70-80 per thousand would a fair price.

not sure if you ever get to Angeles shooting center, Los Angeles silhouette club shoots every 2nd weekend of the month which is a bunch of pistol silhouettte shooters and may allow you to sell the primers there. BUT I would call them first to make sure.
