Ingenuity precision trickler

Update:
He’s not selling any pieces or parts. Just focusing on getting the complete system out. He said late June early July. Hopefully he’s right. Dropping with a chargemaster is way too slow.

I did that for a long time. Throw with charge master, transfer to 120I, trickle up with little dandy. Slow, but it works. After talking to some guys the last couple days, the IP electronics make the V3+IP trickler run way faster as well. Guys I know that tested the complete IP system all love it.

Yes the complete IP system looks sweet. I preordered and got in the first run, hopefully he’ll release it end of June

“This is a no obligation preorder. You will get an order number and when they are ready to ship your payment notification will go out in the order they were received. The current estimate for the first preorders that started 12-19-23 through about the end of 02-2024 should start going out toward the end of July/Aug 2025. If you preordered after the end of February 2024 then you will be in the second batch of production scheduled to release late summer/fall 2025. The second batch will go much much faster now that all the kinks have been ironed out in the first production run.”

Current update from the website.

I’ve been on the waiting list for the IP way too long, I’ve lost my appetite for it.

I think the V4 can do a better job than I can as a shooter…. If you watch Adam’s YouTube videos on setup and calibration for different powders and follow his advice I really don’t see how you can be unhappy with his V4.

I did the same thing...got my V4 a week ago. I haven't used it much yet but it was easy to set up and get running once I worked out the method to unlock an A & D FX-300 "iN" scale I got. I'm not sure how fast the IP is but I am throwing loads in the mid 30s in about 10 seconds....that is fast enough for me.

Supertrickler with v3.2.2 firmware is nailing it, I can wait as long as it takes or even wait for Ingenuity v2

I can’t wait any longer for the full system so
I’m just going to get the powder meter for now and use a manual powder dispenser for the bulk drop. Ideally I’d like to set up my manual thrower directly over the scale.

Besides the ingenuity powder meter v1,v2,v3 upgrade, with the motor, fx120i scale, powder cup and the area 419 lid is there anything else needed to run it? I’m assuming I don’t need the v3 electronics? Area 419 auto trickler self centering tray?

I've been doing close to this for months now, using a Harrells powder drop then put it under the trickler, <6 seconds, done. Still waiting for the thrower.

Exactly what I have been saying for the last two years. It's a sweet system.

Given that I have a super trickier now, what would I need to have in order to run the ingenuity as a standalone? And doing a manual powder dump.

It’s kinda getting to be the never ending story… it was the end of May, then the end of June, now the end of July/Aug. I’ve been using Adam’s AutoTrickler since he first started and he’s always been straight on time and no glitches. Thought SuperTrickler took a long time to get going. Then when it did show up it was disappointing to me. The IP powder trickler showed up and worked like a champ. But now almost 20 months of waiting for the new system only to be set back a least 1-2 more months is really getting old. Beta testers have had it for a year or more teasing us on YouTube. I’ve sold most of my powder throwing equipment that the new system would replace. You’d think for $1000+ it would be worth it to get the units out the door, or at least a reason for the delays.

I just updated my Supertrickler last night to 3.22. What a difference, I was loading 28.3g of LT-32. Averaging between 7-9 seconds per throw. Maybe 1 overthrow for every 15 throws. To say I’m please would be an understatement. I will still buy the IP setup if and when it’s released. At least now I don’t really care how long it takes.
