Info on possible carbon ring or not

Should keep cleaning or is this normal looking in regards to a carbon ring. Read other posta and it seems to be normal. No heavy dark looking ring.thanks again for the lesson.

If it was mine I would polish the throat area with Iosso bore paste.
Then be done with it.

That’s pretty clean. I try to keep the iosso out of the throat any more then I need to

Looks good to me - it's not shiny but there's obviously no build up there

That area can show some darkening after a while. Don't confuse that with build up.

I let it get a bit worse than that before hit it with iosso.

Just finished tackling a carbon ring. What I'm looking at here is nothing to be concerned about.
Proper cleaning will help control carbon buildup.
