My name is Chuck Hollowood and this is my 1st post in a long while. Previously I had a 25 PRC that I posted about but I sold it and bought a 6mm Creed from Alamo Precision. Awesome rifle and the guys at APR are fantastic to deal with. Rifle is legitimately a 1/2 moa rifle at 1000 yards but I haven't had the opporunity to stretch it out farther.
I'm posting because APR is building me a 25 SST as a duel purpose ELR and long range hunting rifle and I'm looking for suggestions to run 130 gr class bullets. I want to run the 131gr SMK at 3200-3300fps and the Berger 135gr LRHT at 3150-3200fps and I'll go with whichever is more accurate. From what I've read H1000 and N565 are probably the 2 go to powders and H1000 worked like a champ in the PRC. Does anyone have the ability to run this cartridge through quickload and does anyone have any personal experience with this cartridge. I look forward to posting pics of the rifle when it's done and load work up and target info.
