Inexpensive semi-auto locked breech rifles?

I was looking around the internet, and I stumbled upon a post ww2 era British rifle that was either based on the sten gun or the Sterling, I’m not sure which.

I also saw an article on forgotten weapons about the TRW Low Maintenance Rifle, and I’ve read just about everything I can find about German last ditch rifles.

Are there any other examples out there that you guys have seen or heard of?

The STEN and Sterling are not "locked breech" 'carbines. They fire from an open bolt. The trigger holds the bolt back, until it is pulled. The bolt with its fixed firing pin springs toward the breech, powered by the recoil spring. The bolt never locks with the receiver or a barrel extension. The weight of the bolt and the recoil spring are the 'resistance' to the cartridge upon firing. They are considered to be "blow back" actions. The M3 "Grease Gun" is another example. Made at a low cost under the pressure of war time. The Sterling really didn't replace the STEN until the early 1950s.

I remember seeing a prototype that was based off them that was chambered in 7.62 NATO that was lever delayed or something like that.
