INCREDIBLE RCBS WARRANTY

I emailed them about buying a replacement tub for my 20 yr. old Sidewinder case tumbler. They emailed back that if I would return the old tub for them to examine, they would replace it. Just received the new one. They did not charge me anything.

I have a lot of RCBS stuff and have never had to send anything back to them. This is what I call real customer service!

We don't get many chances to brag on companies, so I wanted to pass this one on.

Same experience here. Through no fault of the equipment I allowed the thread protecting ball to fall out of my case trimmer's adjustment ring. I didn't notice and then when I tightened it down it ruined the threads. It was my own fault and when I called RCBS and explained to them what I had done they sent me a new assembly at no charge. I told them it was my fault and I expected to pay but they still said no charge. You can't beat that service policy.

You people in the USA are very fortunate that you can so easily deal with RCBS direct.

I had a problem recently with my 10/10 scales, the micrometer poise indicator fell off ) so I rang the Australian agent for RCBS. After talking to the company rep and explaining what my problem was he informed me that it only has a 12-month warranty and what did I expect him to do. I then said to him that the papers in my box that the scales came in said differently. After putting me on hold for 10 minutes while he went and checked he did begrudgingly say that there was a limited lifetime warranty and that if I wanted to I could send it to them and they would see if RCBS would fix the scale under warranty or not. He made it very clear to me that they would be looking for any signs of abuse to the scales as that would void the warranty.

As I am not in the habit of abusing any of my equipment especially equipment that I use to reload ammunition that I use I was a little offended by his attitude.

So after being made to feel like a second class citizen for bothering such a busy person I told him I would get it fixed some other way.

I then decided to send RCBS an e-mail and the RCBS technician who answered my e-mail was awesome in his help and guided me through the process on how to fix it. Top marks to the RCBS tech.

I have an OLD RCBS single stage RockChucker press,40+ years). The ram and its way eventually wore to a point their was "slop". RCBS replaced the ram with an oversize one that fits perfectly for FREE.

That's a funny coincidence. I called yesterday for a new 45 ACP depriming unit since I mashed mine not paying attention,100% my fault) and they are sending a new one no questions asked.

Impressive.

I wonder if they will refund the $230 I wasted on their electric case trimmer. I should send them a bill for the wasted norma brass as well.
The RCBS case trimmer, with it's piss poor shell holder design it's inherently inaccurate and frustrating to say the least.

Their dies aren't my favorites either.
RCBS does have great products, some are preferred by most BR shooters. The Rock chucker and 1500 charge master come to mind. I have the 1500 charge master, I use it drop loads and trickle up to my electronic scale.

I sent RCBS a letter requesting a credit for the product but they haven't gotten back to me.
Sorry for jumping on the soap box, the hard earned money I wasted on that case trimmer burns my ass.

After 10 years of use, RCBS replaced the motor in my tumbler for free. Cannot get better service; only REI can match their service.
