In search of used 257 Roberts brass

Isn’t 257 Roberts just 6mm remington necked up to 25 cal?
257Rob has the Mauser shoulder angle of roughly 20 degrees. 6mm Rem is 28 degrees. That said, with a tapered button on the decapping rod, simply running 6mm Remington brass into a 257Rob die will yield perfect 257 Rob brass with little to no case loss. Round buttons don’t usually do well for necking up. Anytime you neck up or down, annealing after the fact is best for case life.
You should be able to use 6mm Rem, 7x57 or 8x57. If necking up you likely need a tapered button. If necking down, you will need to check neck thickness and may have to turn brass to have proper neck clearance.
