In need of 300yd 6br 12tw load

I am looking for a bullet/load for 300-350yds for my 6br in 12 twist. I currently shoot 80gr FB Bergers with 30.5gr of Varget. They shot GREAT at 100 but my groups open up after that especially at 300yds. I'm not sure the FB is the best way to go for distance. I was thinking on trying the Lapua 77gr SS. Any help would be great.
thanks

Try a little faster pwder. H 322 or N135 work great for bullets up to 80-87 grains in a 6BR. Varget is better for the heavier bullets.---Mike Ezell

Your correct about Flat Based bullets, and long range, a boat tail may serve you better at 300, even a heaver one, with a 1/12' I would think you could go a little heaver, but I have never had good luck with the 88 or 90G bullets in my 1/8'. Are you shooting in a Windy area?
I shoot the same 80g Berger/Varget load at 100, and from my 26' barrel its moving at around 2980 fps, and shoots in the low .2s, most of the time.

Thanks guys, I was thinking that maybe the FB bullet was losing stability at my current vel. Maybe speeding things up with another powder or even a bit more Varget,31-32gr) may help?? I have tried Barnes 85gr bullets and Lapua 90's and my gun will not stablize them. The 90gr Lapua factory ammo keyholes at 100! I was thinking on the 77gr Lapua silver scenars but a box of bullets alone goes for over $40 at Midway. Just wanted to know what to expect. Today I tried the 80's again in no to low wind again and still they are opening up.
thanks
