In need of 10/22 barrel, threaded on muzzle, heavy or ligthweight. Anybody know where there is one in stock?

Got a buddy wants to fix up his old .10/22, with a new .920 diameter with a threaded muzzle/ cap. He is good with a heavy barrel or lightweight barrel with bull dimensions, no sights. Prefer$250 down, but he is open minded. All feedback appreciated.

I have a few blanks that I’ll be lapping next week. On the barrels that I thread the muzzle I prefer to turn the tenon before lapping. Cutting 1/2x28 threads on a .920 dia. barrel it will open up the bore no matter how careful you are. Most of the time it’s less then .0001(pretty much un-measurable in my shop) but it can be easily felt while pushing a slug through the bore. Of the few I test fired before and after threading it only effected accuracy on about 25% of them. It maybe a little more time consuming this way with not much gains but it’s one less variable to worry about.
