in-lbs settings for scopes and action screws

thinking about getting a torque wrench...after reading the daily bulletin. is there a difference in the in-lbs for different scope bases and rings? what about actions screws for rem 700 vs a stiller or bat? there has to be a chart with this info and i can think of no better source than this site. many thanks in advance.

Not sure about all of them, but Burris recommends 20 inch pounds on the rings, and 32 pounds on the
cross bolts.. I torque the bases screws to 40 pounds on any base I install......
These specs should be OK for any install....

Remington Action bolts torque is different per the stock, some have bedding blocks, others pillars then there are the Tupperware Type...so my H.S. Precision stocks (PST-035's) are torqued to 60 in.lbs., and Savage is even a different story, some have 2 bolts some have 3, some only use two of the three....mine are in the 45-50 in.lb. range.
