IMR POWDERS IN A 6BR 14 TWIST

I use h322 and have not tried the xmr8208 as of yet.I would give h322 a chance and meters alot easier than the larger stick powders.

I use 8208 with sierra 70gr MK with great success with 14twist shoots in the high 1's. 70gr is considered the Max for 14twist. Also shoots great with 66gr & 68gr
4198 is to slow burning. Always used 4895 till 8202 showed up. 8208 is not affected by temp or humidity changes. It also meters great in harrell's powder measure.

I agree with jonbearman H-322 I use this powder in both my 22BR as well as my 6BR talking about that 14 twist I think staying with th Lighter bullets also. I shot some 75 or 80 Grain bullets they entered the target side ways Perfect outline of the bullet. Lou

Re: Not IMR.......

I am shooting the 55g Noslers at 3900 fps out of a 26" 1-14 twist, very tiny groups at 100 and less than 1" at 300. I use 7 1/2's with Lapua brass.
