IMR enduron powders: 4451 and 7977

Anyone try either of these? 4451 is supposed to be an alternative for h4350 and 7977 the alternative for h1000.

Supposedly their just a touch slower and I only found 1 reliable initial review of 4451 by the f class captain Rick Jensen.

I tried 4451 in my Dasher and it was too slow. I didn't see any pressure but ran out of room in the case. The velocity and accuracy wasn't great either too.

I moved to my wife's 7mm-08 hunting rifle with the 4451 and it is showing promise. I'm getting decent velocity and accuracy. I will end up somewhere near 45.5 grains with the Barnes 145 LRX.

Can't comment on how dirty it is or if it minimizes copper fouling, I'm still breaking in the barrel and it is pretty rough. It makes it tough to clean.

Cheers,
Toby
