IMR 7977 in 7mm REM MAG

anyone try 7977 in the 7 mag?
IMR 7977 is a good choice for the 7 REM MAG. I compared to H4831 which I had ordinarily used. I was breaking in a new barrel. 7977 was more accurate and seemed as or more powerful. Did not get a chance to chronograph. It is somewhat dirtier than h 4831. The decoppering agent used is probably Tin Oxide. When fired, there is a smut left over instead of copper on the lands. It is easy to clean than than copper. This technology is old dating from the 20's or 30's

I have used it in a 7mm rem mag with the 168 Berger's I sold the rifle because it thought it would never shoot well enough for me, then fund out the scope was to blame... Wish I had that rifle back shot some good groups for having a bum scope on it.
