IMR 4451 Enduron

Anyone using IMR 4451 Enduron as a replacement for H4350? Or does the 1 just mean that it is the Enduron Replacement finally for IMR 4350?

Tried it in a 6.5 Creedmoor in formed Palma cases which have about 1.5gr less capacity than Hornady brass. The density of 4451 is less than H4350 and I could not get enough volume even with mildly compressed loads to get the velocity into the low 2700fps node in my gun (26" barrel). I did not pursue it beyond that one test.

I've been using it in my 6.5 Creedmoor from day 1. I'm using Norma brass. I found a node quite a bit above Hodgdon's max charge and haven't seen pressure signs, but I'm still working on finding the best charge weight and seating depth for my rifle. Currently getting about 0.8 to 1.2 MOA 10-shot groups from a 22" bull barrel using 140gr Berger Hybrids going 2700 fps.

I'm not ready to say I'd pass on an 8# jug of H4350 if I ever found one, but this hasn't been a bad powder for me so far.
