for those of you curious about using IMR 4320 in a 6BR, here you go. First off, I am shooting a 27.25" Krieger .236 bore 5R 1-8 twist 6BR with approximately .115 FB. My previous go to F-open load was 105 berger hunting vld jammed .015 with 30.3 grains of varget. just started testing IMR 4320 with 105 hybrids and all I can say is wow!! (normal load work up applies, so you have been warned if you try duplicating my load). I started out at 30.0 4320 and worked up to about 30.3. once I saw that the pressures were fine with 30.3, I then loaded 5 rounds a piece with varying seating depths. I would start at .005 ITL working up to .015 ITL. 30.3 grains at .010 shot great. 30.6 at .015 ITL shot about .5" at 200 yards. 30.8 grains .015 ITL shot 3/8" at 200 yards. I don't ever go for the highest velocities, just the most accurate and consistent, but 30.8 will be the one I shoot this weekend's match. since my CED chrony is on the lamb, I am guessing it is screaming. I was using my 100 yard zero I used with my 30.3 varget/105 vld load, and at 200 yards, it was about an inch high!!! and just so you all know, berger hybrids shoot great jammed into the lands
