Has anyone tried this powder in a .308 with the 185 gr. Bergers?

From what I have heard from match shooters it is close to Varget in burn rate. Personally I liked something close to H4350 for the .308 heavies. Check the Hodgdon.com load data - I find their max loads pretty darn right on.

In my rifle, it seems a little faster than Varget and shoots well.

What velocity are you averaging? Shooting from a 30" barrel?

I tried it in my 22" Savage barrel. I couldn't find an accuracy node I liked, low node was too slow and high node was starting to show pressure signs. I'd have no reservations trying it in a different barrel.

Nope just the one that the rifle liked best. Down South in gets hot during the summer and during a 20 round string, I don't like to contend with sticky brass.
