improved 6mm br is it worth it.

I have a 6mm Brux bbl here that i want to put on my old hart action for 600 yard fclass and 600 Br.
my bbl will finish at 30". I'd sooner go with a straight 6br as I have a reamer and 200pcs turned brass.
no bullets as of yet.
Will I be hurting myself by not going the Dasher or Brx ? For anything over 600 I will use my 6.5-284.
OR , should I stay with the 6.5 and not bother with the 6 at all. I do my own gun work , and keep barrels on hand, so i dont need to wait for bbls or chambering.

Ken, You are not saving a thing, just because you have a reamer for a 6BR. Invest in a Dasher reamer and never look back. If you need the print number or any other info. on the Dasher, PM me……. Jim O'Hara

I'm going with a Dasher, especially after talking with Jim and doing plenty of research. Should be ordering my reamer from PTG today.

I thought I made a reply to this thread, must not of hit post button.
I chambered the barrel to a straight 6Br. .268 nk and throated it as
close as I can figure to .145 fb. Barreled action is at Carl Bernoski getting stocked.
Jim, if possible could you send me a Dasher reamer print # or better yet scan your
reamer print and email it to me.
I have a certificate here for a set of Whidden Dies, that I won at Reade range 2 weeks ago.
( Thank's John ) so dies are no problem. And like I said I do my own work so cutting a new chamber,
or doing a new bbl is no problem.
This gun will be used for up to 600 yd only, I will use my 6.5 for 1000, and if 600 is a super windy day.
Thanks,Ken
