Important checklist

Ok, Ok, got it.

I am BAAAACK.

Now that is settled, I bought some new sunglasses, so Fredo should be happier.

Problem: I was thinking JUST the underarmour undies, but now have to consider the skinny jeans thing. 200 FPS more with such a small investment!

Note to self: Go over terminology with Fredo. Coach him on "send it" and "I'll buy"

Note to Self: Change Viper for Tasco, get "Nuf/Nuf" reticle so there is no confusion. Just hold "nuf" and it is good, nuf.

Note to Self: Find out how Josh knows about my diet, and try not to be so twitchy.

But none of these suggestions get to the root of things! I need EXCUSES, NOT fixes!!!

Well that's easy, BLAME IT ALL ON FREDO!! Just don't let him yell in your good ear or you'll have 2 bad ones...
 
Another guess would be that you aren't hauling around enough pillows to build the proper tactical shooting position.

Haven't been happy with this trigger for awhile now (helps cover previous misses )

Might check the scope mounting ( reasonable ! )
Missed ah !
Does the retilce look straight to you ? ( he will now believe you actually think its not YOU )
Missed. no verbal reaction just stare at gun, slight shake of head, ( visual cue )

At this point pard may offer his rifle, because he has a huge muzzle break and you can see you missed, instantly say (with conviction ) was that a tremor ??

Remember at all times look dismayed !

PS don't let him shoot your rifle !

OK. I didn't read the whole thread, so I apologize if this has already been covered, BUT.

How about some REALLY important checklists?

Like, what I need from Wal-Mart, so I don't wind-up with 5 bags and $200 worth of crap, and NO CRAPPER PAPER?

Or a range checklist, so I don't drive 45 min and wait in line for another hour only to discover that I brought the targets, Chrony, ammo, rest, bags, cleaning kit, ear plugs, and left the doggone rifle in the safe?

If you can not identify, just wait. The day will come.

Well, some of that might be covered by other threads like "what to bring to the range" list, and "med-kit list in case you are shot". But this thread is IMPOTENT stuff, cause we all need this stuff regular like. (Except Fredo, as he never misses) So, welcome aboard someoldguy, and judging from your name, I bet you got some real doozies I can benefit from. Under the pressure of a miss, a guy needs a list of REASONS...preferably ones that BLAME something or someone else, thank you.

OK, well let me find my 'cheaters' and I'll see if I can catch up.
 
The excuse we missed
Imagine for a moment, that your shooting partner never missed, he is a renowned wildcatter, and excellent with a camera, breaking into the movie seen,has vast knowledge on reloading, ballistics, bullets, a manner that is gentlemanly and informative
A pleasure to communicate with, all these qualities can become quite over whelming,
Enough to make you a bit anxious, jittery, twitchy, which doesn't help when that chuck stands up way out - 50-60 yds and your Under the "watchful eye !!"
I don't want to point the finger
But you know who you are !!
So now when (he ) gives you that "LOOK", you can say " come on you read the shoebox post !
And to (HE) it wouldn't hurt to miss one! After all you're only fireforming, it just might release more pressure than you think !!
Anyhow its just a thought !!

Fredo, I LIKE the UNO bag. But I managed a hack! Chainsawed my couch in half, hired my gun bearer to lug it into teh field for me! Wheels, beverage tray, soft....no need for the inner tube now. Still need clown shoes.

And Fredo, buddy, could ya lighten up on the tech examples? Shoe already has sorta hit on the underlying REASON I miss, and well, you are making me twitchy man....

But really, nice screen shots.
