Imperial dry neck lube- How much in media?

Did a bit of an oopsie, and instead of buying the pre-charged application media that I wanted I bought just the dry lube (super fine graphite?).

I have tons of #9 lead shot which looks like it's more or less the same as the media, so I can make my own media bottle, just wondering how much of the lube to add to the shot.

If you are using the standard size media container from Redding (about the same size as the lube container), start with about a 1/4 teaspoon. You can add more or less, it’s really not that critical.

Use disposable rubber gloves when using the Imperial Neck Lube & your hands and the loaded rounds will all be spotless. Your wife will also be pleased.

I made my own media applicator using #7 shot and dry graphite
works great

I just use a cotton caliber specific mop that I rub graphite powder into. Works well.

Used this method with 9 shot in a small bottle. Works great. I did get a single BB left inside a 22-250 case once. busted my depriming pin.
