I'm shocked ! Scheels Sparks NV

I might have to crawl of the house now that my shoulder is doing better and head on down to Scheels this weekend,
You better.
We have a big year coming up. Waiting on my Dima stock to get here and then Tom is going to chamber up my new BAT.

Who could have known the "good ole days" for components was only a few years ago?
I'm sitting on just over 40K primers, all marked around $35 or less from "the old days". I almost feel guilty breaking open a carton knowing full well they can't be replaced anywhere near what I paid for them.

After Tuesday next week, I'm hoping it will be the beginning of the "new era". I can hope, right?

Yeah. They opened a Scheels here in Chandler, AZ. I've never been in there, but my buddy says you can get almost any component you need if you're willing to pay the price.

Well a really nice friend would call his best friend and say “ I will pick you up a couple of bricks and you can pay me back when you drop them off. “

What model Bat action did you get?

Lololol I’m out of town.

A Nuevo, wasn’t really planning on it. Had more plans to rebarrel my heavy gun but I just couldn’t pass up the deal they had on it. Sooooo here we go

That’s the play. Everyone laughed at me when I bought 25,000 primers for $85/1000
Now I’m laughing.
I was hedging my bet, anticipating a change this election cycle, but it don’t look like it’s going to happen due to the Republicans inability to nominate a viable candidate.

Well
Gold was $850 in 1980
It does go up and down
I was replying to another post, I did not say things don't go up and down.
I was illustrating that gold had gone up 10 fold since 2000, and primers maybe 3 fold. So the smart thing to do in 2000 was to buy gold - not primers.

Components are pretty much in stock at the local gun shows. The local Academy is nowhere stocked up. Very little powder and no LRPs.
