Illuminated reticles for big game hunting

One of my clients having heard rumors about illuminated reticles has a question I could not answer, can any one shed some light on this? Which States allow the use of illuminated scope reticles for big game hunting?
I know lots of hunters hunting all over the country who use illuminated reticles I just dont know how legal this is.
Thanks

Doubt it, too. As long as scopes don't project any type of light toward the target (like a laser), should be legal. probably everywhere.

I wouldn't think they would be illegal for hunting. I have never heard that, and I don't know why they would be, but who knows with some of these crazy law makers today! Call the game and fish of what ever state that your client is asking about. I'm sure they can answer your question.
