If all these factory .223 range Ammo's are same price which would you buy?

1000 round bulk ammo

PMC
WOLF GOLD
AMERICAN EAGLE
FIOCCHI
FEDERAL
PRVI PARTISAN
REMINGTON UMC

In your opinion which is the most accurate and has the best brass

I am kind of leaning to the Fiocchi. They have non steel 62 gr as well as several other choices.

I hear Prvi is not very clean.

I have shot a lot of the Remington and it was OK

Wolf has some good rimfire ammo

I've had experience with all but a couple of the brands you listed and I choose to use Fiocchi Extrema myself for factory loaded fodder, the 50gr V-max can be bought for $.50/round. It's decent, annealed, reloadable brass and it shoots very consistently for me. I find a few pieces of brass that have off-centered flash holes but for the price I have no real complaints.

The only ones I have experience with are

PMC
American Eagle
Fiocchi

And by far the best was Fiocchi with 40 & 50 grain Vmax.

The other two were FMJ...and shot so bad I couldn't believe they stay in business. They were both 55 gr.

Fiocchi with the 50 v max shoot excellent in two different guns for me. Sub 1 inch at 200 yards. ED K

where to purchase a 1000 of these at a good price?

Midway has them on sale right now for $21.49 per 50 rounds. I just ordered a couple hundred more about 5 minutes ago. Even with shipping costs they cost me just under $.50/round.

You didn't mention whether the ammo is for target shooting or just plinking at metal gongs - and whether you intend to reload the brass. If 1 1/2" accuracy @ 100 yards is acceptable for your use, AND you don't reload, I'd buy the Wolf Gold for $315.00 per 1,000 at Targetsports, shipping included. If you reload, the brass is not as good as the Federal - which would probably have crimped primers as sold in most bulk deals. Regardless, the Federal is what I'd probably get if shooting in an A/R AND if I reload. The Remington is pretty good and brass is good but a bit soft for A/R use in my experience if you intend to reload it. For the best pure accuracy out of them all, my bet would be on the Fiocchi/V-Max loads. The brass leaves a bit to be desired for reloading.

I would be target shooting. 50 - 200 yd. AR15 's and bolt action . And yes reloading the brass.

If you opt for the Fiocchi/V-Max, I just got a flier from Midway - they have the Fiocchi/50 grn. V-Max - 50-count for $21.49.

One you should try is the .223 Geco that is being sold right now. SGammo has it for $339/1k. +ship. this is the most accurate factory 55FMJ that I've ever shot. it shoots right around 1/2MOA out of my 12twist bolt gun, and 6/10" out of my 8twist WOA barreled AR. Velocity out of the 24" 1-12 twist Krieger is 3300FPS. the same guns shoot WG at about 1.2 MOA, and ATK M193 at 1.6MOA.

Its Swiss made, on GP90 stripper clips. the brass is the same as what is used for Swiss-P. I bought all that I could afford. it was $355 per thousand, Delivered.

I've shot a lot of the American Eagle and it held an inch at a 100 yards and functioned great in all my ARs. I used to be able to buy a case for less than $300 but can't now of course. For range ammo it shot much better than my handloads and the brass is good for reloading.

Another vote for the Foicchi. The 50gr vmax shoots in the 3s out of my sako. The 55gr fmj on the other hand shot like a shotgun pattern. The brass has been pretty good for me for reloading.

I bought mine probably 4 or 5 years ago on sale a Cabelas for $9.99 per 50 :)

If you are buying cheep factory loads with an eye to reloading, I would suggest buying components instead to save barrel wear.
