Identify this bedding adhesive/compound

This might be a long shot, but can anyone positively identify and put a name to this bedding adhesive/compound?

This stuff has to be the meanest, baddest mofo of bedding material that has ever come down the pike! I will say that I've only attempted to remove a glue in 4 times, and all but this one popped right out with the usual amount of heat. This stuff was an absolute BEAR!!! It's a very light gray, crumbly and crystalline in appearance. If someone knows what this stuff from the depths of hell is, please let me know. It had no odor on release (I figured it would have a sulfur smell given its hellish grip!), didn't bubble or even soften, melt or smoke. It didn't pop loose, I had to pry it out with a tapered wood shim between the barrel and stock and even then, it took lifting further on the barrel by hand to convince it to let go! It's a great material for the intened purpose, but OMG! 20231219_200527.jpg20231219_200506.jpg20231219_200055~2.jpg20231219_200113.jpg20231219_200118.jpg20231219_200128.jpg

The reason you had to pry it out is the threaded studs.

If you are going to use locating pins when doing a glue in, I don’t have them threaded. Just cut a short section of thread on a piece of 1/4" round stock, taper the bottom and screw it into the action with a dab of sealer on the threads. Run them into the action so there's no threads showing.

Hard to say exactly what the compound was...likely a metallic content like Steel Bed or Aluma Bed. It appears to have been pre bedded with with AcraGlas Gel and then the glue in compound added over that.
