Identicle Barrel/ different load

Many of you may know this already, but all barrels are different. I just bought a 6BR with a new 12 twist barrel
on it. The old barrel shot best with 32g of VV135. The new barrel is identicle in that it is the same twist, same manufacturer, even the same reamer and gun smith. But it likes H322 better. With VV135 it shoots about 3/8 groups at 100 yards (indoors). It shot twice as good with H322 outdoors! I would have not guessed a "similar barrel" would want a different powder!

Not uncommon at all. Every barrel is its own entity and has some personalty traits of its own.
Its harder to identify those traits in a good custom barrel sometimes as they usually shoot pretty well with proper components. Factory barrels show thier personalties more and can be harder to find what makes them happy.

On the other hand I have a load for the 204 Ruger thats shoots darn well in every (5)factory tube I've tried it in. Go figure ;D
