Any locals with a 6BR between Baker City OR and Boise ID? I usually shoot a 6.5x284, but this 6BR came up at a great deal and I couldn’t pass it up. I’ve never thought of doing BR shoots, how’s the round do around here for F-Class? Is it really worth it to keep around or should I rechamber, restock and look a different route? Thanks for the time.

6BR is a great round. I will definitely always have one or a variant of one on hand. Very accurate and very easy to load for. An amazing round. Happy to help if you need any.

I shoot F Class “inconsistently” with my 6.5-284, never thought about BR. I’ve watched a few matches in Vale OR, just doesn’t appeal to me much. I was wondering about the round itself mostly, been reading a lot this last week after picking it up. How it does perform out here in the High Desert? If I want to make it my new F Class or just sell it and upgrade my existing rifle.

I live in Haines Oregon, 15 miles from Baker City. I have checked out the 600 ad BR in Vale as well. Have lots of friends there shooting 600 yds. Just no appeal for me either.

I don’t think we’ve met but I know who you are. Been to you website a couple times. Guess I’ll keep it around and load a few rounds and give it a test run.
